Welcome! The Beeghly College of Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, and Education offers a personalized associate-level degree through the Associate of Applied Science in Individualized Studies. This two-year degree encompasses foundational general education courses, a customized focus area developed in consultation with an advisor, and elective hours.
The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Individualized Studies allows students to:
a) create a tailored curriculum that aligns with specific professional goals or unique career paths;
b) incorporate up to 12 credit hours of prior learning or work experience toward their degree requirements;
c) increase their earning potential or qualify for advancement within their current organization; and
d) serve as a flexible and efficient milestone on the path toward a baccalaureate degree.
