Minor in Studio Art for Non-Art Majors

About the minor

The Minor in Studio Art for Non-Art Majors enhances students’ understanding of the intersection between art and other fields. It allows them to develop additional skills that complement the valuable competencies and knowledge gained in their primary majors, while also providing opportunities to integrate creative and artistic pursuits with their other studies.

Creativity, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills are highly sought after in all professions. Students who earn the Minor in Studio Art for Non-Art Majors often go on to pursue careers in arts administration, business, museum professions, sciences, medical fields, and other related areas.
