Associate of Applied Science in Audio and Music Production

This program will begin enrolling students in spring 2026.


About the degree

The Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Audio and Music Production is a 2-year (60-credit) program that incorporates audio production, music, and general education courses to support students who wish to pursue careers as audio engineers in record production through engineering, producing, mixing, and mastering; in live sound as engineers or technicians; in media (e.g., TV, film, gaming) roles in composition, sound design, or Foley sound; as well as forensic audio, restoration, and more. Students will select two applied areas of study, such as keyboard, guitar, percussion, voice, bass, or Digital Audio Workstation.
